Why We Are Publishing This Information
We talk to people all the time that want to sell their house in a certain time frame (usually “now”) and don’t feel that they can.
Many think they can’t sell their house without a REALTOR. A REALTOR has a lot of tools to sell a house, but it is neither fast nor cheap.
Houses become a burden for many reasons, and most people don’t know that they can get a fair price for the house exactly as it is.
People give up, lose lots of money, or lose their house because they think selling their house has to be done a certain way. It does not.
We want to set the record straight and give people hope that they can sell their house under any circumstance without spending a dime to do it.
House-Selling Myths Busted
- I can’t sell my house without a REALTOR. Incorrect. A REALTOR can advise you on how to fix it up, advertise it for you, bring people through to see it, negotiate the deal, and fill out the forms. These services come at a price.
- I can’t sell my house until it is fixed up. Not true. Most buyers won’t consider a house unless it looks move-in ready, but we are not “most buyers”.
- I can’t sell my house with a fuse-box or other disqualifying issues. True and FALSE. It’s true that banks will not lend on a house with certain disqualifying issues, but we don’t use banks to buy houses.
- It won’t be a legal sale without a REALTOR. Nope, nope, nope. You can sell your home to anyone at anytime; even with a contract written on a napkin. We use all the Wisconsin Board-Approved forms and close at a title company.
- I have severe problems that I can’t afford to fix. Not A Problem (for us or you). When we buy your house, we buy it “as-is” with all its problems because we have the ability to fix anything.
- No bank will lend someone money to buy my house in its current state. Well, that one may be true but, again, we don’t use banks. We have our own cash to buy your house, so those things do not matter to us.
Being the owner of the property, my mom got Beth’s letter. She was in a nursing home and was renting the house to family. They had not kept up with maintenance or any repairs and we just didn’t know what to do. Real estate agents would not list our house without a lot of work, and we didn’t have the money or time to work on it.
Beth and her partner visited us at the house, Looked things over for about 30 minutes and got back to us the next day with an offer! She explained every detail about how they got to the amount they offered and were very open about everything.
When we saw just how much it would have cost us to repair and clean everything, we felt that her offer was really fair. They also took care of cleaning out a lot of stuff that the renters didn’t want anymore. It was fast, easy, and very painless for us.
This house was a heavy burden on mom at a time in her life when there shouldn’t be these kinds of troubles. We are so grateful to Beth and her team not only for making this so easy for us, but for her kindness, consideration, respect, and all the little things that mean so much.
